In a medium pan, mix crumbled Knorr cubes, the meat, garlic, onions, atarodo thyme and curry. Add enough water to just cover the meat. When the meat is soft add the pumpkin, tomatoes and locust beans. Cook until the pumpkin flesh is soft and then add the spinach.

Steps to make Pumpkin soup(miyar taushe):
  1. Cut pumpkin into small pieces wash meat and put them inside a clean pot add water salt and seasoning and cook till soft.
  2. Cut spinach with onion and wash with salt or vinegar to kill the microorganisms inside the spinach and set aside
  3. Add palm oil or ground nut oil (depnding on your choice)inside a pot and allow it yo hot.
  4. Fry your cooked meat inside the hot oil after frying add your blended tomatoes and continue frying for 5-6minute
  5. Add your water inside the fried tomatoe,and also the grinded groundnut allow it to boil for 5-8minute add salt and seasoning of your choice.
  6. Add the pumpkin that you turn into paste and cook for another 2minute. And also add your spinach and allow it to cook half done.your pumpkin soup is now ready it can be eating with rice fufu, semo, waina and all fufu of your choice.

When the meat is soft add the pumpkin, tomatoes and locust beans. Cook until the pumpkin flesh is soft and then add the spinach. This is soup is ready when the liquid from the spinach has dried out. The usual accompaniment forthis pumpkin soup is tuwo shinkafa (mashed Arborio rice).
