- Add in the stock or water
- The water should cover the beef barely
- Cover it with a lid
- Let it cook until the water reduces
- Add in the beer,this helps in enhancing the flavour
- Cover and cook until the beef is tender
- Correct the seasoning
- Serve while warm with a portion of braised rice
